Because each Clear Carats piece is made to order, every detail is crafted specifically for you — from your chosen stone to your setting and final polish. For this reason, custom pieces are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.
We take every step to ensure your complete satisfaction before production begins. This includes our detailed approval process for both your diamond or gemstone selection and your CAD design renderings, so you can be confident in your final piece before it’s created.
In-stock or ready-to-ship pieces may be returned or exchanged within three (3) days of receipt, provided they are unworn and in original condition. A 20% restocking fee will apply to cover handling and inspection.
Your satisfaction means everything to us, and our team is always here to help with resizing, polishing, or future upgrades to ensure your Clear Carats piece continues to shine for years to come.
Clear Carats Warranty & Care
Each Clear Carats piece is handcrafted with precision and intention — built to last, yet still delicate by nature. Fine jewelry isn’t indestructible, and with everyday wear comes natural character. Our warranty reflects that balance: protection where it matters most, and guidance to keep your piece shining beautifully for years to come.
Normal Wear Over Time
All jewelry will develop subtle marks and changes with use. This includes light scratches, metal wear, small dents, rhodium fading, minor reshaping, or a loose pavé stone over time. These are part of a piece’s natural aging and can easily be polished, tightened, or restored during routine maintenance.
Improper or Excessive Damage
Jewelry can be damaged through impact, pressure, or exposure to harsh conditions. This may include bent or cracked bands, broken prongs, missing center stones, or damage from chemicals or water exposure.
To prevent this, we recommend removing your jewelry while sleeping, exercising, swimming, cleaning, or performing any heavy or hands-on work.
Our Warranty Promise
Year One: Complimentary Coverage
For the first year from your delivery date, Clear Carats offers complimentary servicing for any craftsmanship concerns or natural wear that affects the integrity of your piece.
This does not include damage caused by misuse or external forces.
Beyond Year One: Lifetime Support
After your initial coverage period, you’ll have lifetime access to our repair and maintenance services at cost.
“At cost” simply means you’ll only pay what our jewelers charge — we never profit from repairs. Our goal is to keep your piece in pristine condition for life.
Additional Notes
- Any alterations or repairs completed by jewelers outside of Clear Carats will void the warranty, as we cannot ensure their craftsmanship or handling of your stones.
- Warranty coverage applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable if the piece is resold or gifted secondhand.
- Our team is always available for cleaning, inspection, resizing, or restoration to help your piece remain as timeless as the moment it was created.
